Life Coaching
In our life coaching engagements, we employ a variety of highly effective tools and assessments like the KCA Wheel of Life and the KCA Personal SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis. While simplistic in nature, both assessment tools help our clients focus on the specific areas of their life they may be looking to change.
For example, with the KCA Wheel of Life – our most common and effective tool for our life coaching engagements – we ask our clients to assess their level of satisfaction in the following areas of their life:
- Career Path
- Financial Health
- Personal Relationships
- Leisure Activities
- Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Health
- Strategies for Personal Growth and Development
- Home and Physical Environment.
The assessment helps you measure your level of satisfaction in each of the key areas of your life. For example, a lower level of satisfaction in a particular component of your life wheel may validate your desire to change that area of your personal life or it may be a signal that a specific area of your wheel is not that important at this moment in your life.
By completing the exercise, the KCA Wheel of Life will help you identify specific gaps in where you are in a particular area of your wheel and where you would like to be in the future. Throughout our coaching engagement, we can help you:
- Create a compelling vision of where you want to go in the future by setting goals and priorities in each area of your wheel that you are not currently satisfied with.
- Using a highly collaborative and introspective process, we help you explore alternatives and develop new ways of thinking to create the future you want in each targeted area of your wheel and identify the specific resources you’ll need to create sustainable behavioral change.
- Our process can also help you address your self-limiting beliefs, identifying barriers that may get in the way of achieving your desired results
- We will help you formulate an action plan using either a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timebound) Goal or GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) Model approach with the specific steps needed to achieve your goals and create the future you envision.
Whatever assessments and tools we employ during our coaching engagement, you will build the confidence that is needed to continue taking new actions that can sustain the desired change you are seeking.
